This workshop will introduce you to the science of electroforming, the process of depositing layers of metal onto a prepared surface. With the proper preparation, even the non-conductive surface of glass can be encrusted with a beautiful copper skin. Jewelry makers will especially love the excitement and ease of creating special effects. Learn each step in the electroforming process including; preparing a piece of glass, equipment set up, material set up, electroforming in the bath, clean up, and final polishing. Students will electroform a small glass pendant in this workshop.
