Gail is a working glass artist specializing in functional glassware production, custom architectural and environmental glass installations, and one-of-a-kind sculptural pieces. As an educator her enthusiasm for glass art is so contagious that it has spread to her students and there is no cure. Nicole Vachier Lozano

Associate Instructor, Glass Arts

A native of Texas, Nicole was raised in San Antonio. She graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University, with a Bachelor's of Science in 1997. Since that time, she has worked for a large financial institution. This, however, did not satisfy her desire to create.  In 2005, Nicole took a workshop on kiln fused glass techniques. Stephanie Davis

Teen Program Director

Stephanie graduated the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Journalism, and later Rose State College with a degree in Respiratory Therapy. At a very early age, Stephaine began drawing and has continued to study painting throughout her life. She also is accomplished in ceramics, fiber arts, needlepoint and jewelry making however , she specializes in metal smithing, wire wrapping and wire weaving as well as bead embroidery. Stephanie owned her own gallery for several years where she taught a variety of workshops and classes and has shown her work in a number of juried shows around Texas and Oklahoma.

 

Cathy McKervey

Associate Instructor, Glass Arts

Cathy is a glass artist with a BA in Art and Education from Carthage College in Wisconsin where her area of concentration was Stained Glass. To support her passion for glass, Cathy worked as an Art Teacher for over 13 years in public school systems around the country. She also joined the renowned GLASSWORKS organization in Louisville, KY. where she held the position as Director of Tours and Education for this multimillion dollar glass facility. Cathy continues to pursue her interest in warm glass and has sold her work in galleries that include the Glassworks Gallery in Louisville KY, the MacNider Art Museum in Mason City, IA and the Clear Lake Art Center in Clear Lake, IA just to name a few.
