GET A REACTION...

KILN FORMING WITH COLOR REACTIONS! 

This exciting workshop will introduce kiln formers and bead makers alike to working with glass colors that chemically react during the fusing or flameworking process. These chemical reactions create fantastic effects, that can be used to develop sophisticated design schemes that are unmatched anywhere else. Students will work with sample charts of reactions as reference for their home studios. In addition, we'll produce sample tiles to catalog the reactive color combinations. 

We'll complete the process with a final kiln formed composition that incorporates color reactions as a part of your design. We'll use Bullseye's large palette of reactive glass colors, stringers and rods, silver foil and copper leaf, as well as their newly developed Reactive Cloud White and Reactive Clear Ice during the workshop. This is an Intermediate level workshop.
